Tasting notes
The 2020 Chardonnay Richard Dinner Vineyard, matured in 33% new oak, has a singular sweet cream and citrus personality. Lime panna cotta, brioche, honey, flint and iodine define the nose, and these pretty tones are echoed on the palate. Medium-bodied, satiny and seamless, its layered flavors are expansive and expressive. Its concentration is balanced by electric acidity, and it has a very long, mineral-driven finish. 284 cases were made.

Supple and succulent, featuring an impressive, polished mix of honeycomb, ginger paste, crisp Meyer lemon, Bartlett pear and apricot flavors. Combines a crisp, fresh profile with rich and spicy hints on the long, expressive finish. Drink now through 2034. 284 cases made.
The 2020 Chardonnay Richard Dinner Vineyard emerges from one of the top sites in Sonoma. It is immediately distinctive in this range for its depth, persistence and overall class. All the elements are so well-balanced, which just reinforces how special this site is. Orange peel, spice, mint and dried flowers meld together in a Chardonnay that balances depth with vibrancy.
A lovely nose of thyme, rosemary, olive oil and pink grapefruit. Medium-bodied with real presence and distinct mineral character. Savory, layered and really well structured. Brioche and brown butter come through. Refreshing tannins at the finish. This will age really well. Drink or hold.
