Tasting notes
Limpid chartreuse. Lively and sharply focused on the nose, displaying vibrant citrus fruit and floral aromas and a chalky mineral overtone. Dry and tightly wound, offering tangy lemon pith, green apple and honeysuckle flavors and a touch of waxiness. Closes firm and tight, with the citrus fruit and mineral notes repeating.

The latest releases from Brokenwood include the brand-new 2019 Semillon. It's a pale, green-inflected straw color in the glass, with herbal scents, plus hints of lime and crushed stone. Light to medium-bodied, expect it to add gravitas over the next few years, but I'd opt for drinking it while young and fresh. Enjoy this dry, citrusy wine with oysters or Little Neck clams on the half shell over the summer months.
