Score 89-93/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Bright ruby-red. Sweet, pure aromas of dark berries, black cherry and minerals. Rich, penetrating and minerally; at once dense and lively, with lovely delineation of flavor. This has strong fruit and excellent persistence. The tannins are big and chewy but not at all hard.
