Score 86/100 · Drink 2016-2020, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Dec 2016
The 2014 Crozes Hermitage le Papillon from Gilles Robin offers a rather charming, forward and spice-filled personality that, today, is a joy to drink. Medium-bodied, nicely textured, with moderate acidity and lightly tannin, it's by no means is a powerhouse, yet has plenty of character and is ideal for near-term drinking.

Bright violet. Lively, spice-accented dark berry aromas and flavors show good clarity and take a slightly jammy turn with air. Smooth and open-knit, with very soft tannins coming in late. This bottling is always quite enjoyable on release.
