Bright red. Deep, rich dark fruit aromas joined by spices and roasted herbs. Full and round, with cherry and cassis flavors and more power than most '04s. Firms up on the finish, picking up a spicy redcurrant quality and showing very good length. Nicely focused for such a powerful wine.
