Tasting notes
There's a slight impression of sulphides here, ie a hint of struck match but not excessive. Spicy and ripe. Full bodied and tastes oaky on the palate. No lack of freshness but it's a stylised oaky wine. The depth of fruit keeps it balanced. (JH)

The 2018 Bourgogne Chardonnay offers up aromas of crisp orchard fruit, white flowers, beeswax and toasted almonds. Medium-bodied, bright and tangy, it's saline and mineral, with a delicate, fine-boned profile.
Light matchstick nose. And then just a little diffuse on the palate. Fine but not one of the standout Bourgognes. Serviceable. (JR)
The 2018 Bourgogne Blanc has a pretty orange blossom and lime bouquet that seems well defined. The palate is nicely balanced with good acidity, although it fades a little prematurely on the finish.
