Medium red. Darker berry and cherry pit aromas are strongly accented by cracked pepper and musky spices. Intense blackberry and cassis flavors show very good depth and a round, supple quality, with dusty tannins adding support. The spice notes build through the long, sappy finish. Quite different in personality from the Pomarium.
