Score 93-95/100 · The Wine Advocate, Oct 2018
A barrel sample, the 2017 Pinot Noir Goldrock Estate is medium to deep ruby-purple colored and hits the ground running with flamboyant Black Forest cake, blackberries and raspberry leaves scents with touches of pomegranate, lavender, damp soil and dried Provence herbs. Full-bodied, rich, concentrated and decadent, the palate has a plush frame and just enough freshness, finishing long and savory. 1,500 cases are expected to be made and released in August 2019.
