Tasting notes
The 2011 Eneo is a stunning wine from Coastal Tuscany. It offers seamless aromas of dark fruit, spice, tobacco and leather. Together, these characteristics create a fantastic presentation. It flows effortlessly across the palate imparting silky fruit tannins, well-integrated acidity and bursting fruit flavors along the way. There is a firm point of oak-driven structure that adds focus and backbone. This is a phenomenal achievement.

Black cherries, raspberry jam, cloves lavender and violets are some of the many notes that take hold of the senses in the 2011 Eneo. This dark, brooding beauty possesses fabulous depth and intensity all the way through to the voluptuous finish. The Eneo is very ripe - in the style of the year - but all the elements are in the right place. The blend is 45% Sangiovese, 35% Montepulciano, 15% Alicante and 5% Marselan.
