Score 82/100 · Drink 1992-2003, Robert Parker, Jun 1995
This wine has shown better on other occasions. At this tasting (February, 1995) it appeared extremely mushroomy and earthy, with attractive ripe fruit, but annoying, off-putting wet dog aromas. The wine is medium to full-bodied, with adequate acidity. It may be maturing slightly faster than the other B.V. Private Reserves. It is not a stellar effort.
