Smells of redwood with purple fruits such as raspberries and blueberries. Some vanilla with cream undertones. Forest floor character throughout. Full-bodied and layered. Fine-textured and open-grained tannins spread across the palate. Hill top vineyards planted mostly to Pommard from the 1970s.
