Composed of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc, the 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep brick in color. It explodes with the most gorgeous rose petal and kirsch-scented perfume, opening out to a core of creme de cassis, plum preserves, and Indian spices, with a touch of sauteed herbs. The medium-bodied palate has a finely crafted backbone of pixilated tannins and seamless freshness supporting the delicate black fruit and floral layers, finishing long and perfumed.

Dalla Valle Vineyards was founded in 1986 by Naoko and her late husband Gustav Dalla Valle, in Oakville. Initially they had wanted to create a luxury resort, but when they discovered the potential of the site, they changed tack and decided to make wine.
