The 2020 Chardonnay Trenton Roadhouse is a very pretty wine. Creamy and layered, the Trenton Roadhouse has the mid-palate depth that is missing in so many 2020s. Orchard fruit, spice, dried flowers and chamomile all grace this tasty, understated Russian River Chardonnay.

The 2020 Chardonnay Trenton Roadhouse is much more reticent than the other Chardonnays in the Kistler portfolio this vintage, with flinty, stony notes on the nose. The medium-bodied palate is bright and silky, with lemon candy flavors, sweet spice accents and a long, gently textured finish.
