Score 88/100 · Drink 1994-1998, Robert Parker, Jun 1994
Grippat's two 1992 whites, the St. Joseph and the Hermitage, are both very good wines. The 1992 Hermitage displays a honeyed, pineapple, and floral note, unctuously-textured, thick, fat flavors, low acidity, and an excellent, powerful, alcoholic finish. It is a weighty although fragile wine, so I would opt for drinking it over the next 2-4 years. Importer: Europvin, USA, Watertown, MA; Tel. (617) 924-7620
