Score 88/100 · Drink 1992-2022, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Sep 2021
The 1989 Chassagne-Montrachet Village is still showing quite well, offering up aromas of buttery orchard fruit and fresh pastry. Medium to full-bodied, fat and fleshy, with an ample core of fruit and ripe acids, it reflects the style of the vintage and I suspect offered more dramatic drinking in its youth. Now's the time to drink up any stragglers.
