Score 90/100 · Drink 2016-2024, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Apr 2016

Coming up on a decade of bottle age, the 2006 Limoux Domaine de Baron’Arques is still going strong and has classic notes of black currants, blackberries, chocolate, tobacco leaf and licorice. These give way to a medium to full-bodied Limoux that has solid concentration and mid-palate density, still present tannin and a balanced, graceful style that will do it well over the coming 5-8 years.
