Rather attractive combination of sweet spice with richness and sufficient acidity. Pure pleasure from a source I associate much more readily with reds. GV (JR)

The 2018 Bourgogne Rouge comes from vines around the Chorey appellation. It offers pretty, almost Gamay-like scents of blueberry and crushed strawberry fruit. The palate is well balanced with supple tannins, a fine bead of acidity and a light, saline finish. Drink over the next three to four years.
