Tasting notes
The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet Les Pucelles 1er Cru is showing a touch of reduction on the nose that makes it less expressive at the moment compared to the other Premier Crus from Jadot. The palate is well balanced with a fine thread of acidity, good concentration and purity and a subtle spiciness toward the finish. It doesn’t quite have the length of the Folatières, but it should mature with style. (DIAM GC closure)

The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles (Maison Louis Jadot) offers up aromas of ripe pears, white peaches, citrus blossom and spices. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny-textured, with tangy balancing acids and commendable length on the finish.
About the producer

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
