The 2012 Pouilly-Fuisse is a little reduced on the nose. The palate is simple and primal with pear and bruised apple on the smudged finish. Tasting their wines blind, I have to admit that I was a little disappointed by the showing from Louis Latour’s Macon wines that came across as just too safe and commercially driven.
