Score 93/100 · Drink 2023-2030, Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux, Nov 2023
Showcases Sauvignon Blanc classicism, not easy to do in 2022. The grassy character moves towards some bitter almond on the finish, with hints of clove and cumin spice that speaks of the vintage, but this has character and depth, and is enveloping. Produced since 1992 from 2.2ha of vines on sandy-gravel soils over clay located in the communes of Arsac and Cantenac. 30% new oak, with lees stirring. Stephane Derenoncourt consultant, winemaker Étienne Charrier.
