The 2019 Fimasaurus is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc made only in vintages when the two varieties ripen close enough to each other to allow for cofermentation. In 2019, the wine is marked by strong aromatic presence and plenty of savory intensity. Dark fruit, tobacco, licorice, cedar, grilled herbs and earthy notes abound. The tannins are pretty imposing at this stage, so readers should be in no rush.
