Tasting notes
The Revello brothers have created a solid and very affordable wine with their base 2011 Barolo. The wine shows the power and the rich fruit signature of the vintage (with 15.5% alcohol) and a mellow glycerol content. The oak signature, following 24 months in barrique, is also very evident with lingering spice and tobacco. It is a broad shouldered wine but a handsome one nonetheless. It should smooth out with more bottle aging.

The 2011 Barolo is a solid choice for drinking over the next few years. Supple and expressive throughout, the 2011 possesses plenty of radiance to match its fruit-driven personality.
A very strong wine in its perr group, Revello's 2011 Barolo is plump, juicy and forward, with lovely purity of fruit and terrific overall balance. This supple, racy Barolo is full of potential for the near and medium term. Today, it is the wine's silkiness that impresses most.
