The 2021 Bourgogne Pinot Noir has an uncomplicated earthy, sous-bois -infused bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, but I find this a little dry on the finish at the moment. This needs a bit of a pep-up.

Cask sample. Pale ruby. Very clean with crisp, precise red fruits: cherries, redcurrants. Zesty, fresh acidity and fine, elegant perfume. ‘Will drink early and age well’, says Frédéric. Medium-bodied with elegant tannins. (MH)
