Tasting notes
Although slightly chunky and lacking depth, the 2013 Plince displays attractive, earthy, foresty, plum and berry fruit in its lightweight personality. Plince often exhibits a rustic side, but not in 2013 because there is not enough extract and richness to bulk it up. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.

Blackcurrant leaf, herbal and fresh. Very light... a style that might once have been called luncheon claret – this is light enough to be breakfast claret! (RH)
Smoke, game, tobacco and cedar are some of the many notes that emerge from the 2013 Plince. Here the focus is on the more savory side of the spectrum, while the fruit lies in the background. Hints of leather, dried flowers and spices linger on the close. Today, the 2013 is a bit forward and appears to be built for near-term drinking.
