Pale crimson. Light and fresh. Not at all like most Pommard – much lighter and more flirtatious. Polished and lively and delivers some pleasure. (JR)

The 2017 Pommard Tavannes displays attractive aromas of sweet red berries, candied peel and loamy soil. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, supple and layered, with good depth and length. It's a successful example of the appellation that will likely represent a keen value.
