Tasting notes
Pale garnet. Fairly light nose that obviously hovers over a lot going on underneath but it’s a little more awkward today than some of the other d’Angerville 2022s – even a bit angular! Edgy fruit with acidity to the fore. (JR)

The 2022 Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Angles unfurls in the glass with aromas of blackberries and cherries mingled with rose petals, potpourri and orange rind. Medium to full-bodied, pure and charming, with an enveloping attack and a bright mineral spine, it will offer a broad drinking window.
