Score 84-86/100 · Drink 2019-2022, Neal Martin, Jan 2019
The 2017 Bourgogne Rouge, taken from tank, offers more fruit intensity than the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Rouge, pleasant strawberry and raspberry unfolding in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins and crunchy dark berry fruit, but I would like a little more flesh to come through on the finish, which I’m sure it will by time of bottling.

Aromas of cherries, cassis and spices, framed by sweet recently used oak, introduce the 2017 Bourgogne Pinot Noir, a medium-bodied, succulent wine that's fleshy and open-knit.
