2023 Meursault Les Casse Tetes

Coming from a site just beside Narvaux and brought up in 20% new oak, the 2023 Meursault Les Casse-Têtes is beautiful, with more white flowers and a chalky, mineral-driven profile that blossoms with air. Stone fruits, lemon curd, crushed almonds, and some orange liqueur notes all shine here, and it's medium-bodied, with a beautifully concentrated, layered mouthfeel, integrated and notable acidity, and a great finish. It's a brilliant, classic Meursault with its richness and integrated oak, yet it has serious minerality and precision. Give it a year or two to gain a touch of complexity, then drink bottles over the following decade or so. Drink 2025-2037.
