Tasting notes
In bottle. This is a mix of the actual Côte de Beaune appellation, some Beaune Montagne Ste-Desirée and some declassified Beaune Clos des Mouches. Fresh pale colour, with a delicious bouquet including fresh lime blossom, then becomes richer on the palate, but in controlled fashion with an attractive finish with adequate acidity.

Cask sample. Strawberries on the nose. Crescendo of slender, mouth-filling tannins, like the entire string section of an orchestra coming in at the same time and filling the hall with their unmistakeably linear vibrations. Peppery! Staccato. Green pluck and red swoop. So much freshness. Transparent, chiselled, ruby charm and snap and bite. (TC)
