Tasting notes
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Sigaro, from Larry Fairchild's Conn Valley vineyard, is fabulous. Ripe, seamless and totally alluring, the 2015 is nearly impossible to resist. Expressive aromatics, bright fruit and polished, ripe tannins are some of the many signatures. A closing flourish of pomegranate, apricot and wild flowers gives the Sigaro its decidedly exotic personality. Most importantly, the 2015 delivers serious flavor intensity with no excess weight. Stated simply, the 2015 is a real stunner.

Very deep inky-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Sigaro delivers ripe cassis, black plums and fragrant earth notes with touches of bay leaves, mossy bark and tobacco leaf. Medium to full-bodied with a rock-solid frame of wonderfully fine-grained tannins and lovely freshness, it has a great core of vibrant black fruit flavors, finishing long and pure. 210 cases were made.
