2022 Tellus Syrah

The Famiglia Cotarella 2022 Syrah Tellus is a wine of enormous intensity and inky consistency. This is a supercharged version of the grape with spicy, dark fruit from low-yielding vineyards, averaging two clusters per vine. "We've never had this level of intensity in this wine," says Zio Ric ("Uncle Rick"), a.k.a. winemaker Riccardo Cotarella. It's almost too much.
