Sweet, seductive blueberry and raspberry fruit along with some toast and damp earth characterize this always vibrant, exuberant style of wine that seems to be mostly Merlot. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.

Very dark lustrous crimson. Great freshness and intensity on the nose. Racy and intense and introvert with quite a bit of dryness on the end but overall pretty convincing, especially for the likely price. Black fruits and a bit of liquorice. GV (JR)
