Tasting notes
Wafting from the glass with a perfumed bouquet of cassis, wild berries and dried flowers, the 2016 Zinfandel Heminway Vineyard is full-bodied, ample and juicy, with fine-grained but firm structuring tannins, a broad, expansive attack and a sweet core of fruit, with nice underlying energy that tempers its unctuosity.

The 2016 Zinfandel Heminway is a deep, powerful wine built on a core of serious fruit intensity. Muscular and resonant on the palate, the 2016 is going to take a number of years to be at its finest. This explosive, resonant Zinfandel is loaded with personality, that much is obvious. Today, the tannins are forbidding, but time should take care of at least some of that.
