Score 16/20 · Drink 2024-2027, Jancis Robinson MW, Oct 2024
Juicy, lively, red- and blackberry and cherry fruit. Approachable already, a sophisticated introduction to Alliet’s Chinon range. Well priced. (AWH)

Philippe Alliet has produced a clean, pure 2023 Tradition, offering aromas of dark wild berries, licorice, coniferous forest and cedar, followed by a moderately weighted, tense and elegant palate that is framed by powdery tannins and fine acidity, concluding with a fine-sculpted finish. It's easy to drink, pleasant and super affordable. Matured in concrete tanks.
