Tasting notes
Pretty red, blue, and even some black fruits emerge from the 2019 Château Bellegrave, a medium-bodied Pomerol offering lots of floral, underbrush, and leafy herb nuances, ripe, supple tannins, moderate concentration, good balance, and a clean, classy finish. It will keep for 10-12 years, possibly longer.

The 2019 Bellegrave presents a well-defined nose of blackberry, raspberry, orange peel and light earthy scents. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, quite juicy at first, yet the structure defines the finish. It will need 4–5 years in the cellar, but there is good potential here.
The 2019 Bellegrave (Pomerol) offers up generous inky dark fruit and chocolate. Ultimately, the combination of very ripe fruit and underlying vegetal notes makes the 2019 feel pushed and awkward. I am not sure the style is ideally suited to this site.
