Tasting notes
A rock-solid white, the 2019 Château Couhins Blanc is up-front and fruit-forward, with juicy peach, pineapple, and honeyed grapefruit as well as some subtle spicy, mineral nuances. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, this textured, pure, balanced white is ideal for drinking over the coming 4-5 years.

A fine effort, the 2019 Couhins Blanc offers up aromas of crisp orchard fruit, white flowers, nectarine, citrus oil and fresh mint, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and precise palate with racy acids and a saline, attractively grippy finish. This modestly priced white Bordeaux would embarrass many grander names in a blind tasting.
The 2019 Couhins Blanc is so elegant in the way it balances textural richness and energy. Orchard fruit, lemon peel, dried flowers and expressive saline notes are beautifully delineated. At times, the Blanc feels weightless, and yet there is plenty of depth.
