Tasting notes
The 2021 Domaine de l'A is a bit closed and firm today, revealing aromas of dark berries, spices, licorice and coniferous forest. Moderately weighted and perfectly balanced, it's vibrant and layered with a rich, calcareous finish that segues into an ethereal aftertaste. This is worth hunting down, in the context of the vintage.

Brought up all in once-used barrels (there was barely any of this produced due to the frost), the 2021 Domaine De L'A reveals a vivid purple hue to go with a beautiful perfume of pure cassis and cherry fruits that are supported by background tobacco and scorched earth nuances. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has good concentration, remarkable purity, and fine tannins. I'd be a buyer if I saw it.
