The 2018 Château Brown Blanc has an attractive bouquet of subtle tropical scents – pineapple and guava – and a touch of pawpaw, and then a light lemon thyme aroma with continued aeration. The palate is well balanced with a lively opening featuring orange zest, nectarine, caramelized pears and white peach. Not the most complex dry white Bordeaux that I came across in my tastings, yet it is a flavor-packed, quite delicious wine that will give up to a decade’s drinking pleasure.

The 2018 Brown Blanc is a pretty, open-knit white laced with hints of dried pear, apple, spice and floral notes. I would prefer to drink this inviting, supple Pessac Léognan upon release.
The Brown 2018 Blanc has an open-knit, expressive nose of lemon tart, key lime pie and warm grapefruit plus hints of crushed stones and mandarin peel. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers great intensity with layers of citrus and mineral notions and a long, lively finish.
