The 2021 Domaine de la Solitude Blanc has a light, slightly waxy bouquet that doesn't quite have the vivacity and tension of the Lune d'Argent tasted directly before it. The palate is better, with a taut line of acidity. Green apple commingles with Anjou pear and a touch of freshly sliced grapefruit, leading to an energetic finish. Drink this over the next decade.
The 2021 Domaine de la Solitude Blanc is a soft, easygoing white to drink now and over the next few years. Passionfruit, marzipan, lemon confit and tropical accents all grace this charming 2021. The Blanc is done in a slightly riper style than the other wines in the Bernard family's range.
