Tasting notes
Amber colour and a maderised nose yet there's a certain freshness too. Not that heavy, but this famous Roussanne is definitely on the way down. (JR)

Although similar to the 1993, the 1992 Chateauneuf du Pape Roussanne Vieilles Vignes possesses more of an exotic, honeyed, roasted nut, and floral-scented nose, intense, full-bodied flavors, superb concentration, and a long, lush, pure finish. This wine tends to drink beautifully for 2-3 years after bottling and then close up. The Perrins believe it can be aged for 15-20+ years. Importer: Vineyard Brands, Chester, VT; Tel. (802) 875-2139
