Score 88+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Fresh red-ruby color. Perfumed aromas of black fruits, leather, grilled nuts and eucalyptus. Concentrated and dense, but tightly wrapped today; like Bordeaux in structure. Finishes with substantial ripe tannins. This peppery wine should flesh out with a year or two of bottle aging.
