Score 92/100 · Drink 2026-2036, Jeb Dunnuck, Mar 2024

Gorgeous cassis and blackberry fruits, iron, graphite, woodsmoke, and crushed stone all emerge from the 2021 Hermitage, a medium-bodied, nicely balanced, concentrated Hermitage that shows the fresher style of the vintage while still being balanced and incredibly impressive. It needs 2-4 years of bottle age but should drink nicely through 2036.
