Score 17/20 · Drink 2023-2030, Jancis Robinson MW, Apr 2024
Full bottle 1,353 g. From a plot on the extreme north of the appellation on the border with Meursault. Alluvium and brown limestone. Three quarters of vines are more than 80 years old while the rest were replanted in the 1990s. Rich fruit with a citrus streak. Really quite a broad impact on the palate with a very satisfying register of acidity. Nice little lick of grapefruit-peel bitterness on the finish. Long. (JR)
