Score 90/100 · Drink 2024-2030, Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate, Feb 2025
A blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Viognier sourced from vines planted on mica-schist soils, the 2022 So'Brune exudes a gourmand, floral bouquet of strawberries, mulberries and flowers, suggesting the use of carbonic maceration. Moderately weighted and lively, it's round and fresh, with delicate notes of jasmine and wild berries, concluding with a fresh, long, albeit brief, finish. Crafted entirely from whole clusters, this elegant yet relatively straightforward Côte Rôtie was matured for 11 months in barrels.
