Score 91/100 · Drink 2026-2033, Billy Norris, Vinous, Jan 2026
The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley is very closed aromatically, but it entices with its darker, more concentrated character than its typical red-fruited personality. The tannins are very, very subtle, pointing to a wine that feels like a medium-term proposition. Mocha, graphite, incense, leather and blackcurrant flavors saturate the palate, leaving behind an echo of American oak spice.
