Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2017-2030, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Jan 2015

The 2013 Meursault 1er Cru Charmes "Vignes Plantée en 1913" will be bottled in magnums to celebrate the centenary and probably come with a special label. There are 500 liters this year. It has a well-defined bouquet with subtle granitic and flint scents permeating the citrus fruit that unfurls in the glass. The palate is fresh and vibrant with crisp acidity, touches of walnut and honeycomb interlacing on the intense and long finish. This is a wine worthy of such an important milestone for those vines.
