Score 92/100 · Drink 2024-2032, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jul 2024
The 2021 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard Santa Barbara Historic Vineyards Collection is laced with crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, cedar, spice and incense. Aromatic and medium in body, with fine balance, the 2021 has plenty to offer. This mid-weight Pinot is attractive, but it also feels a bit compact. It spent two years in mostly new French oak.

Score 93/100 · Drink 2025-2035, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Dec 2023
The 2021 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard is scented of raspberry preserves and cranberry sauce with nuances of saline, tea leaves and underbrush. The medium-bodied palate is grainy and fresh, with a concentrated core of elegantly earthy fruit and a long finish with spice and floral accents.
