Tasting notes
The 2021 Red Wine All Blocks, Tensley's Grenache-based wine, is a knock-out. Bright red-toned fruit, blood orange, spice, menthol and cinnamon are all dialed up. This succulent, juicy 2021 delivers the goods. Dollops of Syrah from Colson Canyon and Mourvèdre from the estate vineyard round out the blend. The 2021 is supremely delicious.

The 2021 All Blocks Red Wine checks in as 80% Grenache, 19% Syrah, and a splash of Mourvèdre. Its vivid ruby hue is followed by a gorgeous perfume of red and blue fruits as well as peppery herbs, loamy earth, and iron. With medium-bodied richness, it's a concentrated, textured, incredibly impressive Grenache delivering fine tannins and a great finish.
The 2021 All Blocks is a blend of 80% Grenache, 19% Syrah and 1% Mourvedre. Medium to deep ruby-purple, it has inviting aromas of cranberries, cherries, tobacco, potpourri and savory spices. The medium-bodied palate is pleasantly chalky and super fresh, with floral fruits and a satisfying, spicy finish.
The 2021 Red Wine All Blocks, Tensley's Grenache-based red, offers an intriguing mix of effusive Grenache fruit and aromatics tempered by the energy and tension of this cool, late-ripening vintage. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, mint, spice and blood orange are front and center. What a gorgeous and promising wine this is.
