Score 94/100 · Drink 2023-2040, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Jan 2023
The 2019 Bandol la Tourtine—mainly Mourvèdre, with a sprinkling of Grenache and Cinsault—isn't as bright or fun as the La Migoua, but it might just boast more power and intensity. Dark fruit dominated, yet made complex through dried spice nuances of allspice and clove, it's medium to full-bodied and richly textured, with a long, velvety finish.
