Tasting notes
The 2013 Secateurs Red Blend comprises of 83% Shiraz with 10% Grenache and 7% Cinsault. It offers bundles of ripe strawberry and raspberry fruit on the nose with just a touch of chocolate that becomes more accentuated with time. The palate is actually better than the nose with crisp tannin and well judged acidity, fine tension with blackberry, dried blood and oxtail notes furnishing the finish. The more this stays in the mouth, the more you warm to its charms.
